Functional design for KaleChips by Anthony Sorace and Anna Kiss Mauser-Martinez. Internal design and implementation by Anthony; some early development help by the kind folks at Cleveland GiveCamp. Ongoing testing and much helpful feedback by the City Fresh staff and Anna Kiss's army of volunteers.

KaleChips is made out of Django, Python, and PostgreSQL running on a virtual FreeBSD server hosted by DigitalOcean. It was written in Acme and uses Plan 9 from User Space for various bits of infrastructure.

KaleChips was mostly written while listening to Zoë Keating, Imogen Heap, and Radiohead.

Rip the kale into largish bite-sized chunks, removing the stem. Toss with extra-virgin olive oil and a bit of sea salt. Bake at 350°F until just browned but not burnt, about 15 minutes.
