KaleChips is by Anthony Sorace, with initial functional design by Anthony and Anna Kiss Mauser-Martinez. We are grateful for early development help by the kind folks at Cleveland GiveCamp and ongoing testing and much helpful feedback by the City Fresh staff and Anna Kiss's army of volunteers.

KaleChips is made out of Django, Python, and PostgreSQL running on a virtual FreeBSD server hosted by DigitalOcean. It is written using Acme and uses Plan 9 from User Space for various bits of infrastructure.

No LLMs or other so-called "genAI" tools were used in the creation of this system.

Rip the kale into largish bite-sized chunks, removing the stem. Toss with extra-virgin olive oil and a bit of sea salt. Bake at 350°F until just browned but not burnt, about 15 minutes.
